News - ADM Donates Charity PC to Seasalter Homework Club

Seasalter Homework Club

Seasalter Homework Club is grateful to a local 'Computers for Charities' scheme, which has enabled them to access a refurbished PC free of charge.

As the name suggests, Seasalter Homework Club was set up to help children with their school homework, and to encourage them to improve their literacy and numeracy skills through workbooks and educational games. The Seasalter Homework Club is run by 2 teachers and a retired police officer, and is for any young person aged 8 to 14.

The club meets on Tuesdays in term time from 4 to 6 pm at the Seasalter Christian Centre in Faversham Road, Seasalter, Whitstable. Each week attendees eat a snack together and on alternate weeks members cook a healthy meal in the first part of the evening. The club costs just 50p a week.

Anyone who is interested in joining the Homework Club is welcome to attend. Alternatively please phone Jill Freeman on 07733070933.
Similarly any charities that are in need of a PC donation should contact Ana Smith at ADM Computing on 01227 473512 or via email: ana@adm-computing.co.uk
